Victory in Wake County Court

Raleigh attorney Judy Tseng successfully defended a healthcare provider, Ms. Taylor*, who was sued by her former employer.

The plaintiff clinic claimed that Ms. Taylor had been overpaid and owed the practice money because she saw patients for which the practice ultimately did not receive Medicaid reimbursement.  The plaintiff demanded the money half a year after Ms. Taylor left their employ and the lawsuit occurred a year later.

Attorney Tseng argued and demonstrated that the plaintiff failed to properly follow published federal guidelines pertaining to Medicare and Medicaid billing, and therefore was entitled to nothing from Ms. Taylor.  Judgment was rendered in the client's favor with prejudice.
